Posted - Jan 27 2010 : 05:28:06 AM I made these yesterday. I have lots of ideas for other things to make. But first I want to organize all the stuff so I can see what I have.I get side tracked when I'm looking at all the stuff while trying to make something.

Posted - Jan 27 2010 : 5:51:45 PM I have read that they did not smile because it took a few seconds or more to burn the negative plate, and if you moved at all it would blur. It is hard to hold a smile for long. But I bet it is the teeth thing. It does not seem people began to smile in photos until the 20's and 30's or later. Then you see a lot of photos of people really hamming it up. Interesting, huh?

Posted - Jan 27 2010 : 09:54:41 AM Hey pretty neat Nancy Jo. I think people didn't smile in those olden days was because it was a solemn occasion to have a picture taken and something new specially to older people. I never thought about the teeth issue. Nowadays we laugh at anything. hahahahahaha!!! MB

Posted - Jan 27 2010 : 07:36:22 AM Jeannie, I think the reason people in the older pictures didn't smile that often for pictures is because their teeth were bad. Or maybe it was laundry day. Nancy JO

Your creations always make we want to keep looking at them. Nice job.
