Posted - Jan 22 2010 : 4:30:11 PM Ok so Dairy Princess & I went quilt fabric shopping this morning...started our morning off at Starbucks & then bee-lined it over to Spokane...our 1st stop was at a Fabric shop on Garland in Spokane called "Sew Easy 2".....& guess what they had? give up? MaryJane's line of fabrics along w/a deco pillow pattern for making a sweet pillow from her fabric. But it gets even better....there on the cutting counter for all to see, the current (Feb) issue of MaryJanesFarm magazine. And I have to tell ya...it is so worth the wait....your gonna love it....now for me to go sit out by the mail box & wait for my copy to arrive... Oh & Rene' I loved the sweet article about the chicken coop.... Also there is a cute fabric Rooster.....hmmm, now to try & find the pattern to make one.

Posted - Jan 23 2010 : 4:17:01 PM I've had my current issue of JM for several days. Today a girlfriend was here and I am trying to get her introduced to MJ. Was loaning her some of my back issues of MJ Mag and then paniced because I couldn't find my current issue. Went through the stack I had loaned her and there it was. Said, sorry you can't have that one, yet.
Wish we could get MJ fabric around here. We only have Walmart and won't have that when the new supercenter opens. |

Posted - Jan 23 2010 : 03:35:36 AM Oh, I missed that one, although they had the MJ mag many months ago but not the fabric. Ben's also has the mag. I had mine some time ago also! It took me two days to pour through it, every minute was wonderful!

Posted - Jan 22 2010 : 4:46:29 PM Hey Grace, I take all the credit for the fabric and magazine being there. There's a sister story up here in Colville called EZKnit. I went in months ago and told them the fabric was coming out and about the magazine. They told me to call the woman who buys fabric at the Spokane store and I told her about it (and Maryjane). Sometimes when I walk in the clerks call me the Maryjane girl: ) JoAnn P.S. You haven't got your copy of the magazine yet? I got mine over a week ago and I'm out in the boondocks! |
