I haven't done this sionce I was in college & going out late!
I slept till 11:15! YUCK
I work from home today, & when I woke up & saw the time, my mind freaked out!
I feel like such a waste. Guess the body needed it, but it sure did throw me for a loop. Or make me loopy, one of the two

Since we have roosters, they start crowing at 4 a.m.

We get up at 4:45 anyway, but it shure would be nice to be able to sleep undisturbed on days off.

"sleeping in" for me is 7:30 and 8:00 is late unless I've been up late the night before, then it's possibly 8:30 or 9.

If I had kids, they would be calling CPS on me!
But I am busting my butt now trying to make up for it! Not to mention that hubby gets up at 3:30..
I AM, however, grateful that I was able to do it. I know you mommies out there could not have pulled it off!

Wow, if I did that, my animals would be banging on the door wondering where I was! I can understand how you felt. I hope your day gets better.

I wish I could, I wake up automatically around 5:30 and no matter how hard I try I can't get back to sleep. Apparently sleeping from 11ish to 5:30 is what my internal clock thinks that I need... I think it is wrong.. Congrats Lisa....:)

That must of felt great until you realized you need to work twice as fast to get caught up. I hope you enjoyed it because you must of needed it. I try to sleep in but as soon as my hubby goes to work I wake up.7:15 which is sleeping in for me since I retired. I used to have to get up at 5:15.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Thanks you guys, but I think the guilt comes from the fact that I have chickens & goats & although the goats are content to lay around, I do not think my chicks appreciated being let out 3-4 hours late. I apologized & gave them some extra scratch!

Obviously you NEEDED it. Don't beat yourself up feeling guilty. :)

We slept until 9:30 when the phone rang....it felt awesome. We all needed the sleep. I do not feel guilty or that I have wasted the day. Now I have more energy for the day!
