Does anyone else have spring fever? It has been so beautiful this week that I just want to be outside all day! I can't wait to start our garden!!
Hugs,

No spring fever here yet. Everything is frozen and its -22. Gotta love MN. :) But coming here and reading about your spring fever might just start something up...

Tinarie - I think there is something absolutely magical about awaiting spring in your new old house. Enjoy!

I am very ready for Spring. Although I know Spring will be short and the horrible summer heat and humidity will arrive and stay for a long, long time. I'm trying to figure out where to put my blueberry bushes. I want to go to the nursery's and load up on plants and garden goodies. I know the freezes aren't over yet and that would be a big mistake. I did start my planting journal to remind of what I want to do. This is our first Spring in our new old house. Built in 1886. I can't wait.

Happy Planting Everyone

Delicia,

I am also still trying to talk my husband into a few chickens. I LOVE chickens. He also is not sold. I'm hoping he will be by this spring. I've been working on him for over a year now.

We had one nice sunny day here in Missouri, and well, I was outside all day. Cleaning up leaves, and planting seeds in our hoop house. We have plants growing in there as well, but it was great to be outside in a t shirt planting. Loved it, and yes I am ready for more.

Actually, yes. It's been very much like spring here lately. I was surprised to see some flowers blooming in my flowerbeds. Not sure what they are (I'm terrible with plant names), but some are pink, others bright blue. They aren't crocuses. Anyway, they made me think that spring is just around the corner.

I have been outside for the past four days. Today I'm making bread and cinnamon buns. In the past few days I have cleanup up the grape vines, made an new flower bed, dug up my beds for lettuce and that kind of yummy things, clipped back my herb garden, raked under my willow tree againand cleaned up all the flower beds around my house. Looks much better. Then I planted pansies and primulas in my pots for a burst of colour. My daffodils are up about an inch and my crocuses are starting to bud. Spring is here!!!!

Give thanks to yourself everyday for all the wonderful things you do!

I actually have a cold with a fever...

Definitely have Spring Fever. Am thinking about what I want to plant in the back yard and am trying to get my husband to buy into the idea of a few chickens. It is not working on that front though.

Yes, Spring Fever has been teasing me for days, ever since we had a really gorgeous day and it was 65 degrees out. I'm just itching to plant my early spring seeds but I'm afraid I'll get into trouble with some snow (it is January, after all).

The sun is shining but it's still cold. We still have snow and I know we will have more. I am going to try the Jane Austin recipes you sent me soon. I want to try the bread but so far have talked myself out of it as it will not rise in my cold house an I don't want to turn on the oven just to get it to rise. I am looking forward to spring but I hurt my arm and I know it will take a month or two more to heal it and I know I would be the dummy and try to prepare my gardens non-stop. So yes I am looking forward to spring but I still have a lot of indoor work to do so I am also thank-ful for the time.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

All those catalogs I get in the mail just make me have spring fever worse. And we've gone from a week of ice to a week of thaw and temps in the 50's forecast for the weekend. Everything is teasing me.

Spring is still quite far away for us in Michigan, but the weather has been such a tease lately. This has been a winter of snowlessness (well, at least by Michigan standards). While it hasn't exactly been warm, it hasn't been typical as far as snowfall and dreary days either. I can't wait for spring....*sigh*

Actually, not me . . . yet. We have had a LOT of snow, but I'm still enjoying it. We've had SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many dry winters and years of drought that I'm glad for "normal" winters like we had when I was a kid. Now I always say . . . YAY!! It means we can irrigate and have normal water supply.
Anyway . . . winter is still okay with me!!! I know that will change.

Tammy:
The school board called me in today to teach a special music class, but I couldn't get out because they were moving this huge house. Isn't that a hoot! I don't think they believed me. LOL. Oh, hurry springtime. I can't wait to weed, garden, mow, rake, etc...

Spring can't get here fast enough. Between all the snow and now ice we have and very little sunshine, I have got spring fever. I am a teacher and was home because of ice. We have missed a lot of school due to the weather.

Its been raining here since Sunday, and today it started snowing abit, which for me is good, we need the rain very badly, plus it keeps me busy inside, so I don't go outside and do things that I'm not supposed to do for about 5 more weeks, lol.

We had a ice storm today so schools and church was cancelled tonight as roads and streets are covered with ice. Rain would be very welcome versus freezing rain.

Oh Channah:
I have Spring fever, Summer fever so bad. I have cabin fever now, all cooped up in the house because of the cold weather, rain, rain, rain, etc... I have had enough. Tomorrow, rain or shine, I'll be out in the yard playing, as I call it.

I do, too...it's been sunny and warm in the morning, just enough to be oooh so teasing before it disappears in the late afternoon...turns into clouds and wind. :( I've started wearing shorts and planning my garden to protest winter!! LOL

I do. It has been in the upper 60's - lower 70's here. I really want to start my veggie garden and a new herb garden but I know it will freeze again before spring. I have been enjoying the warmer weather while it lasts. I can't wait for spring,
