Posted - Jan 23 2010 : 8:18:56 PM Great web site Mikki! My mother is 85 and still spends a great part of her day's knitting. I can see the good that it is doing for her. |

Posted - Jan 23 2010 : 4:50:24 PM I saw a book the other day on meditation and knitting. Can't remember the title. But any type of needlework has much the same effect as meditating. cindy |

Posted - Jan 23 2010 : 06:24:38 AM Keeps my mouth (relatively) shut during boring presentations, helps relieve my anxiety when I'm overwhelmed or up in the middle of the night and can't sleep and don't want to wake anyone, and passes the time while I'm waiting at a sports practice/pool/or any other extracurricular for the boys. And...when I'm knitting....I'm not eating! |
