Posted - Jan 05 2010 : 5:41:29 PM Lainey, I was so glad to see a post from you! We have missed you ! You had a pretty rough year last year. I am not surprised that you got down in the dumps a bit. That you are cancer free is so great. Sometimes it just hits you all at once and even thought you are happy and grateful for being healthy it takes some time to get over all that you have contended with. I hope you are feeling better soon and that you post often.
Hugs MJ

Posted - Jan 05 2010 : 5:25:36 PM Lainey, so good to hear from you. Isn't it funny how we say 'hear from you' when maybe we should say see from you. LOL
High hopes!! girl. Good vibes and fairy dust sprinkling your way. Keep in touch, MB

Posted - Jan 05 2010 : 10:04:31 AM Nancy, Marybeth, Jessie, and all,
I'm so sorry I haven't been on here as much. I'm doing ok, I've had a couple of health issues and procedures since I've posted last. I've been battling depression a bit as well but I'm trying to be more positive in 2010. That's about the only resolution I'm making this year. I'm going to start posting here more often. It made me feel so good that you ladies were concerned about me, it really means a lot. I think of you all often.
I did have a CT scan in December to check if my cancer had spread anywhere and the results were really good: no evidence of disease. Now I have 4 1/2 years more of these tests and scans before they declare me cured of the esophageal cancer. So that was really good news I thought. The holidays were really rough this year. Partly because I missed my mom so much and I had a procedure right before Christmas that caused some pain, then I caught a really bad cold at New Year. But as I said I am going to be more positive this year. Thanks again all for your concern and I'm going to post more often.

Posted - Jan 05 2010 : 09:12:24 AM Good question Nancy Jo. I did see her on Facebook--which I don't have --but I thought I saw her name--somewhere anyway.
Jess, tell her we want to hear from her here. Thanks, MB
