Posted - Jan 04 2010 : 05:34:40 AM How is everyone today? Hope your New Year started off right!
It's is fresh and crisp and COLD here in Eastern VA.... The skies are fair and it's a whopping 23 degrees....[but feels like 15]. I didn't forget my gloves, hat or scarf today! AND I wore my warm fuzzy slippers to work... They are a casual dark brown so they blend in. :)

Posted - Jan 05 2010 : 09:04:17 AM Well, I'll admit I am a cold weather wimp. I hate this cold. Although it's alot easier and faster walking on frozen groung than ankle deep mud, for sure.

Posted - Jan 05 2010 : 08:59:15 AM Here in Louisiana, we woke up to uncharacteristic weather of 27 degrees. They're predicting 9 or 10 degrees by the weekend, with snow on Thursday. Yipes! We Southerners just aren't used to this kind of weather! And to think, to some of y'all, we're nothing but a bunch of wimps!!!!!!!

Thing is, we have humid/wet cold..it's not the _dry_ cold that I have felt in places like Colorado .. where I can go out in 5 degree weather.. this gets in your BONES... Agghhh!

Posted - Jan 04 2010 : 09:18:40 AM Cold and a little snowy here in Arkansas. Up north a bit they got 4 inches of snow which is a lot for Arkansas. So far just a dusting here south of Fort Smith. So glad for the warm fire in the wood stove and good food in the pantry.
