Posted - Jan 03 2010 : 2:49:31 PM Marly - you will love Pioneer Womans site! Hope you enjoy looking at it! You need to read her story "Black Heels to Tractor Wheels"! It's great!
The snow is still coming down! I played around outside a little this morning but spent most of the day cuddled up with a book. I made a YUMMY meatloaf and homemade rolls, twice baked potatoes and brussels sprouts for lunch and did some laundry. We didnt venture out to church since it is a 30 mile drive so it was a nice quiet day in the country.
It's looking like my first day back to work (I am a teacher) just might end up being a snow day. I'm hoping MAYBE they just delay us an hour or so but I teach north of here and they usually get worse weather than here. Oh well another day of vacation - I guess I shouldnt complain! ;)

Posted - Jan 03 2010 : 1:40:51 PM The two little cats totally stole my heart! Plus of course the horses and the dog, ok, ok, I am such an animal lover. But they were so cute!

Posted - Jan 03 2010 : 1:20:41 PM Julie: I loved the pictures of the snow. The cat, horse, animal pictures were heartwarming. Thanks for sharing. On your blog, I noticed the part about the Pioneer Woman. I hate to say but I know nothing about the Pioneer Woman. Sorry! I did check out her blog, and it is amazing. I do plan to go back and read more. The snow looks great. Wish it would snow here in Louisiana. That's almost a never thing! LOL. Happy New Year to you and yours. Marly

Posted - Jan 03 2010 : 11:45:51 AM We have a good foot on the ground here, but I'm in north-central Alberta.
It's not bad here today -15C (sorry don't know the conversion), chilly but not bad if there's no wind.

Posted - Jan 03 2010 : 09:43:02 AM Hey N@n! We bought our dog Hagrid in Hackett! My husband is the chess coach at our school and Hackett is one of our biggest rivals! Of course we always win! ( wink, wink). I'm surprised you all haven't gotten any yet. Seems like northwest AR always gets it first!
