In reading many of these threads, I see that there are others in the same Christmas present boat as I am. My question to you all is:

Is there something we can do as a group online to encourage/work on together projects for next christmas. Is it possible to have like a giant swap of things handmade which we could share as possible presents to give? Or maybe a thread listing/pic showing items that you have made and given as presents for family members.

I may just be pipe dreaming, but there must be something we can do as a group.

What do you think?

Have a good day!

A lot of gals have etsy stores and often list in the postings so we can all see who has etsy shops we can check out. Some of us visit these shops and then end up trading. Also if you are looking for something special just listing in the barter has worked for many of us too.
I like the idea of sharing ideas. Thanks for the site Kristin. I will check it out but for now I think I need to get ready for bed. Or wind down.....

I was just over on www.oneprettything.com/. There are alot of really simple pretty things to make for kids and adults using things that most people have around. Ya'll need to check this site out. Lots of great ideas there.

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I like sharing ideas of what to make and or give to others. Could you set up a thread for that? I am making window block lights to give out next year but they are very heavy and would cost a fortune to mail. If you want to see one I have a rough one on my blog,

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.
