Church, rest, craft, rest, eat, rest, decorate, rest .
I am SO tired from delivering mail this past week. SO SO many cards and other mail to deliver. Normally 2 big bags per day , now 4 to 5 BIG bags per day. And it was snowing, freezing COLD!! So no biking but doing it all on foot yuck. I hardly ever work on Saturday, never on Monday. But had to work today AND Monday too, so only day off is tomorrow

One more week to go till Christmas and I am SO happy

Hugs from Marian/Dutchy, a farmgirl from the Netherlands

Haven't even started decorating yet. In exactly 45 minutes I leave to pick up my son at the airport. He's coming home for Christmas! He used to love to decorate, so I will wait so he can share in that.
It's been a tough year, and will be a very small Christmas but I will have my three kids home with me, and I wouldn't trade that for a million bucks! Happy Holidays to all of you!!!!

Today I made cookies and choclate covered pretzles with my 3 yr. old grandson, cleaned the mess up while he naps then all of us going to Our Lady of Victory Basilica & National Shrine for mass then off to a Christmas party at a friends. My grandson's mom is suppose to pick him up when she is done with dinner with her friends but I will probley be home by then, so he'll spend the night again so his dad can pick him up then when his dad drops him off he'll spend the night again and monday night to. so I'll be busy with him which is why most of my Christmas shopping is finished in July

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

hahah! here it is, nearly 11am, I am still in my jammies....cats are asleep, DH is at work, I am enjoying my last couple of sips of coffee with all you lovely ladies sitting w/me here at the "cyber-kitchen table"...but on the plus side, I got the house work done early, bathrooms cleaned, sheets changed, vacuuming done, now all that's left is to jump into the shower, and then bake a crustless pumpkin pie for tonite(going to friends for dinner) and maybe get in a wee bit more sewing time...
Good morning hugz to you all.
And
Merry Christmas

I have some presents and stocking stuffers to wrap. (You can see I am getting that done lol) Then I have some cleaning to do. I am listening to Kenny G Christmas cd, so relaxing and beautiful. Maybe I better put on some Jingle Bell Rock!! I feel very mellow and laid back today. Then tomorrow will be a shopping marathon with my daughter. She just finished up a very hard semester and has to work the overnight shift at the hospital tonight. Tomorrow is a go for all Christmas shopping day. We will have a ball but I bet we will be pooped out! Especially her, no sleep for 24 hours or more. I don't know how she does that !! We both work well under pressure so we"ll plow through!

Going to Sister's Christmas. She is up from Houston and at her Son's house in Bartlesville. Will spend the afternoon with them. Snacks, no big meal. Tomorrow will bake cookies and make candy. Our Son and DIL is flying to CA next week to spend Christmas with her family. Will send cookies and candy with them to eat on the airplane. Then I'll get started on the cooking and cleaning for our Christmas Eve Chilli.

Gena, We won't have any snow but supposed to get Ice on Wed. Would rather have your snow.

Breakfast with the family. Then taking my Girl Scout troop on an outing. Tomorrow hubby is taking my girls shopping for my Christmas present while I stay home and wrap everything here.

My house needs a good cleaning as well. Monday we're going to a museum, so that's out. Tuesday! I think we'll all strap on our aprons and get to work.

Mine will start at 5:30 am, as I will be taking my BIL and his family to the airport to fly to Arkansas for Christmas, I will come home, try to finish a project for my 'shop', then spend the rest of the day with my kids for my birhtday. They have something cooked up, been lots of secret conversations. Looking forward to being with them and my most precious grandson!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.
