I drove through McDonald's this morning for breakfast, as the little gal at the window, took my moneyfrom my gloved hand, she said "I wish I had a pair of gloves", so I took mine off and gave them to herThey were only a buck or two at Target a couple of years ago, no biggie, but I can remember being stuck at work and needing a pair of gloves with no relief in sight. So I made both of us smile before 7AM this morning.

I shop at Aldi's a food store that you have to place 25cents in a cart area to get your cart out when you place it back you get your 25 cents back. I always just pass my cart on and tell that person to just pass it on to the next person, it's funny to see the reactions from people when I don't take the 25 cents and say have a nice day. They all have said they will pass it on and smile. Very simple, cheaper than giving gloves away and it's proof it doesn't cost a lot to makes a person smile.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Random acts of kindness should always be our goal in life! It warms our heart! That was very nice.

It always makes one smile when another gives from the heart without a thought. Good for you Kathryn. May your Christmas be a joyful one and a Happy New Year. She'll always remember you when she puts on those gloves.

What a wonderful story. That was so nice of you. I'm sure she will carry the memory of your kindness with her for the rest of her life. I know it always does my heart good when I hear people doing good for other people. Thank you for that.

What a kind and simple gesture. I bet she remembers you for years. You're right, little acts of kindness really don't cost all that much or take that much time to perform but the dividends are enormous!

That was a lovely thing to do. If she was young as most of those people are she probably doesn't even own a pair. I know it is something my children wouldn't think to buy themselves. You may have done her a kindness that will last the rest of the winter not just today.

That was very kind of you! I am so grateful for your post today. I have been having a personality conflict with one of my trainers at work (I'm glad we have several trainers so I should only have to deal with him for another day or so), and your generosity and kindness of spirit is a good reminder before I go to work again!
