Posted - Dec 18 2009 : 06:32:07 AM Have you heard Amy Grant's song by that title, I Need A Silent Night? Here's the youtube link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRSSsNbF29I&feature=related
I thought of it this morning and found it on youtube for one reason. Our own Christmas hustle and bustle is brought to a standstill as we mourn the sudden death of the wife of one of my husband's good friends. A healthy, happy, middle-aged woman who had a heart attack out of the blue. No warning signs, no risk factors. She died instantly. Makes me think about what a gift each day really is. Makes me want to celebrate Christmas for just being Christmas, not all the other stuff.
