We have been having a bit of a rough patch the last couple of weeks. There have been problems with the ex-husband. The kids have not been to his house and there's a court date later this month. A couple I clean for lost one of their "four-legged" children this past week. Pete was their Corgie. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had to be put down. Pete and I got off to a rough start when I began cleaning but we had become good friends. It's been tough on me losing him too. Funny how we get just as attached to others animals and children as we do our own. So by the end of this last week things were really starting to get me down no matter how hard I tried to push those bad feelings away.
But last night all those bad feelings were put away as I laid stretched across the bed snuggled in watching tv with my honey wrapped in an afgan made my grandma (I believe it's the only one she ever made) and a quilt made my great grandma. As I laid there thinking about all the love I had wrapped around me, everything bad disappeared. I was ready to cry. My guy thought something was wrong, but nothing was wrong, everything was perfect.
So whenever you feel down and out, find whatever makes you feel loved and wrap yourself in it. You feel much better!
