Hubby was rummaging around in our shed and found some old glass insulators. They are Hemingway's and then says 'CSA' on the other side.

How do I find out what they are worth?? Where to start? I'll google them but if anyone knows anything that could help us, we'd appreciate it.

Alee, will let you know!

Welp, an update of sorts...hubby found a few more today. They are differently shaped and one is blueish-green glass. The others are still mushroom shaped but have extra ridges. Shoot, we may have more even!! There are still bins in the shed that we can't remember what is in them...

I have tons of them, and I have them sitting on top of the woodfence posts that support my split rail fencing, I think they look pretty that way. I put a nail in the top of the post and sit the insulator over it, helps prevent them from getting knocked off. I use some of the more unusual ones for paper weights in my office.

These, apparently, aren't worth that much but we wanted to know. I thought it said Hemingway but it's Hemingray! Anyway, they will look kind of spiffy somewhere, I don't know where just yet!

I have a small collection and a book somewhere that tells me what they're worth. I think they're so cool!

I love old glass insulators! My dad worked for the phone company the whole time I was growing up and he used to collect them. I think he got quite a few from the ground around the telephone poles themselves! I remember playing with them when I was little! I used to think they looked like giant glass badmiton birdies!
