My first time purchase from SUSAN THE SOAP MAVEN came and I love them. I'am pretty sure I'am going to need a lot more. The farmgirl soap sitting on the bathroom sink on its little wooden rack scents up the whole bathroom, and makes my hands so soft. The solid lotion in the cute little tin is great, I even put a little on the very ends of my long black hair, because the ends are a little dry and it smoothed it right down, Just letting my hair grow out one more time before I die. HA. Maybe I will put it in a long braid like our Mary Jane. Anyway if you have been thinking about trying Susan's products I think you will love them. No she did not pay me to write this.

Why oh why did I read this thread?! I'm trying so hard to be patient and not run to the Post Office every little bit, and here I read all this raving and my resolve vanishes.

I've already told my dh that when my first month's installment of the coterie arrives I'm going to lock the bathroom door and pamper myself for a good while.

(Susan, that first paragraph is certainly not a complaint -- you were wonderful to ship to me so quickly, and I know "good things come to him who waits".)

Some people search for happiness; others create it.

I knew him in college when he played for Cornell University. He used to come over and raid my kitchen all the time with his teammates. We would get home to see them sitting at our kitchen table after eating all of our food! And Canadian hockey players eat allot!
Had to be 99 because I don't think he was married in 89. His one teammate from Cornell still works for the hockey team. I saw him on tv when Cornell was in the playoffs a couple years ago.

Any word on a delivery date?

Hannah wants to know if it was in '99 when he played for Dallas or '89 when he played for the Flames. She said "TOO cool."

Hi Susan. Went to school with Joe Niewyndyk (sp?) he lived next door during college. He married one of my friends from high school and still lives in Ithaca. When his team won the Stanley Cup he got to bring it to his sons school and show everyone. Pretty cool.

Good morning! Do I love that movie? Oh yes!!! One of my favorites. I dont have the soundtrack. LOVE the aunts.

Now lots of way off topic stuff:

Hubby and I watched The Notebook last night - for the first time. Oh my the sobbing! We have cried more lately than ususal. Walk the Line, Ray, The Notebook...I love watching movies with him. He usually sniffs first...then I can just cut loose with the sobbing. Then we watched A History of Violence...and when it was over we both said "Well, that wasn't fun." We have Cinderella Man and Good Night and Good Luck from Netflix to watch still. We usually work early in the mornings and then when he comes in to take a break from outside, and we break from school, we will "pile up" as he says, and watch a movie before supper. Hockey is still on at night...and that takes priority over ANY movie or TV. Hannah (17) is a hockey FREAK. She's like a walking hockey encyclopedia!

Quick story: On my birthday 4 years ago, my brother calls to remind me I am 6 years older than him (HAHA) and wants to know what I want for my birthday. Knowing in his work, he worked closely with the local CHL team The Mudbugs, I said "Well get some of the guys to come to Hannah's birthday and I would be a happy mom and sister." He says he will call me back in a minute. He says to meet him at Superior Grill in Shreveport at noon on her birthday. There would be reservations in my name. So we did. First in walks my brother with the coach...she spazzed...but figured it was a coincidence since she knew they worked together some. So we order (ribs!) and then in walks her very favorite player. I thought she would faint! She leaned over and said "I ordered RIBS...I can't eat ribs in front of him!" They gave her a signed stick, puck, hat, jersey. They talked to her about hockey for an hour and a half! It was the most wonderful day! Then last year for her 17th birthday, her oldest brother Zach(the one who offered to take his vacation and come take care of me after my surgery) took her to Dallas to the Dallas Stars Fan Day. She was just so thrilled. If you ask her what she is going to be when she grows up the standard answer is "A hockey wife. DUH!" She figures she would never find a "civilian" who would love the game as much as she does. So she will have to marry into the sport!

Back to the subject: Thank you all for your support and kind words! Sorry about the rambling this morning!

I got it today!!!!!!

I love it!! That is one big hunk of soap! My daughter and I love
the smell. I ordered Farmgirl.

I have really dry hands. Old man winter hands, LOL! Sometime, I
hope it's soon, when I sit down to watch TV I am going to take my solid lotion bar and rub it over every inch of my hands. It does
not leave them feeling greasy. Only soft, and that was with a quick
rub over the palms.

Susan, I tried everything and love it all. Thank you.

Yes you have to get the little soap deck, keeps the soap nice and dry. I ordered that farm girl gift set, which came with the deck. I only got the coterie for three months, couldn't let that deal she had a few weeks back get away. give all your animals a nice pat on the head for me, I don't have anything around here to pat on the head except Richard, the cat died a few years ago.
