Felt wonderful to have a day at home where I could be outside,do some planting, unclutter & sweep the porch, just doin farm girl stuff. I need to finish the porch today,as I go back to work for the next 3 days. Wanting to decorate right after Thanksgiving. I've missed not being with the plants, feelin the wind on my face & watching the crows & hummers.
I also got a bargain from a book catalog I get-I picked up a copy of Mary Janes sewing projects-also has crochet stuff in there, new, for $6.95. Can't wait to get it! And in an effort to go green,I donated to the Nature conservancy & got one of those new fangled aluminum water bottles and won an adorable wooden perpetual calandar. It dawned on me how much paper is used in printing calandars, and this one can be used every year. Small too,so it can go on my desk. Won it for under $3.00 (the original I saw in a magazine was selling for $20)

Sherrie, sounds like you had a wonderful day at home. Isn't it great to just stay at home and do homey stuff? I love it.
