Nora went with her dad to visit her great grand mother. Her great grandmother is an artist. Well I guess sometime during the day Nora went downstairs unattended into the art studio and started ADDING to her great grandmother's paintings! So then Doug, her grandma and her great grandma all had fun letting her be an artist and let her keep adding to the paintings!

Here she is adding more blue to a mountain with real oil paint!

See?

You just never know what will happen when someone in encouraged rather than discouraged.

That was handled VERY well!

How wonderful. This sweet story has blessed me to pieces. Walking in her Great Grandmas footsteps for sure. Sounds like her Great Grandma had a sense of a gift rising up in her shadow. One day she will be a Great Grandma, and again pass on the blessing of her giftedness. Thanks so much for sharing your precious story with us.

~~Blessings, Mikki Jo

Alee,
How cute. A great one for your family album. Who knows, one day you may look back at this to see where she got such a great start.
Very precious.

Alee:
I'd let Nora paint all she wanted to. How kind of her Great grandmother to let her paint. Pure love and kindness.

Thanks Bev! Thought that was pretty special! Her great grandma is a wonderful lady but also very particular about her art (She is super talented!) so to hear that she let Nora add paint to her paintings was just so awesome. I am still blown away. I guess Evyann (her great grandmother) was absolutely thrilled to have a budding artist for a great granddaughter :D
