Oh, yes, we sure did! We didn't tell the neighbors and so one of them almost called the sheriff on us (a friend was with me) but we squared it with her and now she wants to join us.

We DID have some strange things happen on our cameras and my friend's hubby is now cleaning the tapes up for us, so we can HEAR better and see things clearer.

I'm telling you, it was the most fun I've had in many a moon!!

Yep, that's what I'd do, say, "Go to the light." Some people just get stuck here. Ghosts, spirits, are not only in grave yards, their all over the place. Enjoying the postings.

Gio is my 3 yr. old grandson and Abby is his invisible playmate at my home. He claims he found her hiding behind the couch, we have some toys with on and off switches and even when Gio is not here and I turned off the toys every now and then this one truck will start. When Gio is here he will say "Abby is playing car's with me"
When we first brought this house my girlfriends came over to check it out and when I opened the door (we were all outside comming in) a large shadow of a figure appeared and then disappared into the floor-cubboards. One girl did not want to come in thats when I got out the holy water.
I do believe that there is so much more to dying than going to the cematery. I would hate to think that my grandparents are buried in the dirt, and stuck there. My dad donated his body to the universary of Buffalo. Mine will go there also.
I do not know the history of the house.
My home in Attica is also home to an unknowen person, My brother when he was small would say the man with the beard is playing with me. When I brought the house and started to tear it down my left shoe kept disappearing. My sons were 4 & 5 and I doupt they would of done that especially since it was always the left shoe. I finally said you can stay here just leave my shoes alone, and they did. My ex-hubby, woke up calling my name swearing he saw the man with the beard, ect. ect.
When things go bump in the night I just remind my shadow friends not to scare me and to feel free to go into the light.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Diane, who is Abby and Gio? I must have missed something somewhere. My granddaughter talked to a guy up in a tree several years ago that said he was my daughter Abby's old boyfriend. He had been dead a few years then. Told her his name and they talked awhile. Chloe talks about it still and it's like she was just talking to a real guy up in a tree. Weird.

Winona, any more strange sightings? This is spooky. I can't even walk down my driveway at night. It's very dark.

I've always believed what was thought of as a imaginary friend was really a spirit. I am loving this topic....checking in all the time...lol

Sounds like a lot of fun! I love this type of stuff, but have problems with it when I am by myself.
Diane, sounds like you have a fun little one around. What else has she done. I find it interesting how the youngesters can see and/or hear what we can't.
I'm interested in both postings!

****Double Update****

Okay, I have the audio on my puter now and we 'think' 'she' says "I'm not in a grave.". Oh, yes, that's what we think. It's really breathy, a la TAPS, but it's there.

Just great cuz I'm at home by myself right now and my friend called to get me up to speed, send the email with the audio on it. So, I was joking that maybe 'she' is the person who came out of the sunken grave 20 years ago but the caretaker said that grave originally held a man's body.

Spooky, eh?? :P

Ooo what fun! We have a ghost in one of our little outskirts of town, the white lady of laughlinton, but noone seems to truly know what the story is behind her. Kinda sad... That is so cool you got to go poking around!

Just be careful not to provoke any with evil intentions, some spirits can be dangerous. Research any buried dead before you conjour them, cause the bad are buried in cemeterys also.

I'm glad I only have to go to my livingroom. Abby is playing with Gio this A.M. I shut off all the cars and she turned the one back on, she always plays with one special car. Even Gio says Abby's playing cars with me again. Which gave me the time to write this.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

No, no prayers. We just decided to go on the spur of the minute. Did the journalism thing, asking who, what, when, where, how and why and then TRYING to be quiet and listen/watch. I don't know if you'd consider it talking with the dead, we want to listen to them...or better yet, SEE one!!

Do ya have prayers or meditations before ya go? I don't mean dogma religious prayers but the opening the mind and spirit with love kind of prayers and meditations. I hear that really helps. The guy who talks to the dead all the time says anyone can do it with alot of meditation. Keep telling us about it! fascinating

UPDATE****

My friend's hubby has cleaned up the audio, still working on video, and there IS a voice on there. Like that breathy voice you hear on TAPS!!! We can't quite understand what 'she' is saying but it's there and very clear. We didn't hear it ourselves until he cleaned the audio up.

On my video, there is a light orb but my friend thinks it was a neighbors porch light but we're going back and do some more taping just to be double sure.

We found we have to do some prelim work before we get down to the hunt, which we didn't think of before (such as notifying neighbors not to call the cops on us...) but we're working things out.

Who knows, maybe you'll see us on TAPS or something! :-) hehehehe....

I've never seen a ghost and don't really care to. Mine live with us they are nice and quiet, Abby is 3 and tips things over but she plays well with our grandson who told us she was hit by a car and often wants me to put bandaids on her.
Can you even image the world we will go to when our time in this one is over. My dad said it's so beautiful, just before he left us.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.
