Posted - Nov 07 2009 : 07:54:35 AM i think i now know how i am going to make all the things i love work together for a career. once i am done with my bfa in fashion design, i can get my masters in sustainable agriculture while i work in the design field. when i am done i want to start a fiber farm that raises fox fibre cotton and wool livestock. the cotton waste makes excellent livestock feed and the livestock produce manure to fertilize the cotton. from there i will design my own line of natural, eco friendly clothing.

Posted - Nov 07 2009 : 08:41:31 AM at this point i'm thinking jacob sheep and alpacas. i want to produce fiber that requires no dye process. my family in south dakota has been in sheep ranching for generations, so i'm probably going to rely heavily on them for advice.
