I totally forgot to tell you guys all abut the logging going on behind our land.
You can see the flags from the house and we sure are hoping they will continue in the other direction.
Have gone walking several times to see the carnage.
It's so sad
they have clear cut about 40 or so acres, and it wouldn't be so bad, but you can see the sky now and one of our walking/cycling trais is totally blocked with tree bodies.
It's kind of weird to see daylight when we walk now
And the kicker was yesterday when we got home and the SOB logging company had the GALL to place a business card on my windshield! |

Sorry you are having such a bad experience but, us loggers have to eat and provide for our families as well. Our intentions are only to complete our job and not offend anyone.

This makes me so sad and angry! I wish we could, as a world, recognize how important trees are to the health of our planet and stop the greedy consumption. I'm so sorry that this is happening so near your property. And the total GALL of those guys for leaving a card on your windshield!
