Like I've said (ad nauseum ), our house is on the market. Last night a couple looked at it and was so interested they requested the last years' utility bills, to look at the inspection report from when we bought it 3 years ago, etc. The were there over an hour. Their realtor just called dh at work, and they want to come back this evening!! They're coming at 5:00, which will give me just enough time to go home & turn on all the lights, light the candles and spray Febreeze, etc., etc.

If you're so inclined, please say a prayer that this will work out for the best of both this couple and us. Thank you very much! I'll keep you posted.

Patti, good luck girl! I agree with JanO, seeing the old house inspection is kinda odd and not really their business at all? Be careful there! Your house is lovely and will sell, no doubt, just hang in there. Keep us posted!

I certainly hope this does work out for everybody concerned. I used to sell real estate, am a licesned broker still, and I find it odd that they are asking to see your old inspection report. The electric makes sence, but why the inspection report unless they are hoping to avoid paying the cost to get their own. That is something that I don't think I would comply with because frankly it's none of their business what the house looked like when you bought it. JMHO But, it also raises a red flag in my mind about what kind of conditions they will put on the sales contract. Please keep your quard up and be prepared to counter any unrealistic expectations.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
