Posted - Nov 07 2009 : 3:16:12 PM Boy, I loved that show so much when I was a little girl! I had no idea they made it into a musical. Even now, when I hear that theme song, I kind of choke up a little. Great memories.
Glad you enjoyed the show!

Posted - Nov 06 2009 : 12:13:26 PM Glad you had a good time. It must feel very special to Melissa to get to play "Ma" now and even more special to have her son act with her as Willie!
Thanks for sharing!

Posted - Nov 06 2009 : 09:28:41 AM Saw it last night! It was really good! It is a small production but the songs are cute and the dances and such are really fun. It was SO COOL to see Melissa Gilbert at Ma and her youngest son plays the roll of Willie Olson!!!

Posted - Nov 04 2009 : 9:57:22 PM I'm so jealous Julie! I looked it up on line and the closes it gets to me is about 8 hours away. But I am planning a trip, so I might have to plan it around the same time so I can stop and see it! How much fun is that! Farm Girl Hugs!

Posted - Nov 04 2009 : 04:58:27 AM Julie, Yeah for you, please let us know how it is. I know it is coming to Missouri too. How appropriate. I live about 45 minutes from Mansfield. Where Laura Ingles Wilder and Alanzo lived. Have visited their farm a couple of times. It is worth the trip. So cool, to see what a farmgirl Laura was. Enjoy the play, and what better person to appear in it, than Melissa Gilbert. How neat. Sheri
