Posted - Oct 30 2009 : 06:34:23 AM Did acid come into your throat? You would know if you felt like you were choking on something.
Panic attacks will also give you the same effect except there isnt anything in your throat, except maybe the lump of terror. Have you been particularly stressed lately? |

Posted - Oct 29 2009 : 10:07:02 AM I have had this happen and I have sleep apnea and reflux. Get thee on a CPAP soon. If you are overweight, it is likely sleep apnea, dear. (I speak from experience :o)

Posted - Oct 28 2009 : 12:54:05 PM Oh goodness Sheila! Several people that I know have sleep apnea so I posted some of the info on it below, and I have the reflux problem too, these are the only things I could think of right away. Some times you inhale a little bit of acid from you stomach and you'll choke and wheeze, so maybe that could cause it. But you should talk to a doctor! it sounds like a pretty scary thing to have happening to you! *hugs*
