The weather here has been wonderful Oregon fall weather. Two weekends ago DH and I took a trip up the Columbia River gorge to see some fall color and then this weekend we went downtown Portland for the Portland Farmers Market held at the PSU campus park blocks.

Here is DH overlooking the gorge at Crown Point

Bridle Veil falls further into the gorge

And of course the crown jewel - Multnomah Falls

Then some of the sites from todays visit at the farmers market -

I just love how they lay out all the fall vegetables

Then some fall color amongst the trees

And the beautiful fall bouquet DH bought for me at the market -

We did have a good time on both weekends. The visit to the gorge was sunny but very windy and cold - we stopped on our way back at Edgefield (a hotel and restaurant) for burgers which is fun. Then this Saturday the weather was perfect - a bit of fog in the morning but the sun came out and it was in the upper 50's low 60's which made walking around the market perfect. The wood fire pizza we had helped as well. :)

Lovely! I have to make a trip down to Multnomah one of these days. Maybe when I finally get my vintage travel trailer! ;-)

Jennifer -

I can not take credit for the table piece - I am not a sewer. However it was still done in the family - my mom made it. She got a surger machine and has been trying her hand at quilt pieces. She has a friend who actually does the quilting part, but mom puts all the pieces together. She did a beautiful job.

Oh Anne, how beautiful. Looks like you had a wonderful time both trips. We come up to Florence and Winchester Bay once in a while to ride the quads in the sand. It's usually only during the winter months but, it's beautiful on the coast anytime. Love your table piece, I'm sure you made it, great job it's quite striking.

Warm Wishes
