...and the my dear friend A will be married! AND this busy time will be in the past for a while, phew!!
I know it is silly, but even I have been extremely busy with HER wedding lol. First the dress buying, then the helping her find items for the day etc. Looking on the net, printing things and way more. Then the shower I had for her. Now it is practising my solo at church that day, yikes. Yesterday eve I sang it for the first time in church, all by myself and in front of the other choir members! I so remember my first "solo". It was at my confirmation/baptism and I just had to sing ONE line lol. Man was I nervous, I couldn't get past the first word lol.
BUT yesterday went great, even the rest told me so YAY!! SO have to keep practising and listening to the original and hope and pray it will go fine that day too.
Today first the small fair at the church then off to friends place, do the shopping etc. Then tomorrow church and in the afternoon helping her with a lot of preparations again. Monday a talk with the decorator so we can work on that and work together the afternoon of the wedding. She (decorator friend from church) and I will do the decorating together, we both have great ideas and now have to compromise them both in THE plan.
The rest of the week first work and then again help out friend A. Friday: THE DAY!! Hairdresser and all the rest. YIPPEE!!
I love it, absolutely LOVE it, but know that come next Saturday (or Sunday) I will be on the couch all day and just vegetate lol.
BUT as I said, I love it. Keeps my mind occupied and not wandering too much to brother and his problems for a while.
After the wedding the pastor's wife needs my help too. I had crocheted lovely white wedding cakes as party favors for the bridal shower. She (pastor's wife) saw them and asked me to make a lot for the Christmas fair. SO ofcourse I said sure ! She will provide me with the material and I will make them. I had made lavender sachets too to stuff the "cakes" with and they were so sweet and cute, lol
SO a lot of work, busy busy.
That is why I have not been here as much as I used to !!
But hope to be back again

Geeze, I bet you'll be glad when this is all over! And not even your wedding. What will it be like when you have your own? You'll have to go on a little mini vacation just to get rested from all the work you've been doing. I am sure this wedding will be beautiful and your solo will be the best one. Have fun but do get some rest, girl!
