There is never a day that I don't think about all of you sweet farmgirls and this wonderful gathering place that MaryJane has provided for us! What a gift and blessing! I have learned so much from you! Each time I walk into my laundry room I can smell the sweet, fresh laundry detergent that I make and think "thank heavens for farmgirls"! MaryJane even taught me how to crocket from her book "MaryJane's Stitching Room"! I have taught classes to my church sisters on wonderful things that I have learned here! Most make their own laundry detergent now and the recipe goes on and on! Thank you farmgirl sisters for making my life and heart full! I am gratful for you.

Hugs!

I love the farmgirls here too. It is really heartwarming to know that so many good women live across this nation and the world! And more come to visit every day. I always look forward to going to my computer and logging on to this site. It has meant a lot to me and that has spilled over into my family too. I bake bread all the time now, and made gifts I have learned how o make here. I ove knowing how life is going for the friends all across the country. For instance, NAncy Jo's blog always lets me know what is going on in NY. The list goes on and on. MJF is now a part of my life.

I wonder if all the Mary Janes in our farmgirl life are as great as you Lee and our leader, Mary Jane Butters. I hope so. I feel the same about this group. Thanks for the sentiment.

Boy! You hit the nail on the head with this post. It was sweet of you to say those nice things and at the same time I feel the same way. Don't know what I'd do if I hadn't found MaryJane. Thanks for putting our feelings into words! And Grace, I like your analogy of the "kitchen table" keyboard! I need a refill, pass the teapot please!

oh for sure....MJF girlfriends are the best!
Whether they live just down the road, the next town over or clear across the US,,,,we can always depend on each other, a supportive word of encouragement, the sharing of creative talents or just a shoulder to lean on.....thank goodness for fram girl friends.
It's like I said before, coming here is like sitting at a sunny kitchen table, sharing a cup of tea and a friendly word even if the kitchen table is a keyboard...
