Posted - Oct 06 2009 : 07:04:35 AM We just had our camp for all 9 of our grandchildren from ages 2-11. It was so fun. Come over and read about it. Still time for you to have one with your children or grandchildren. It was such a special memory making time. We were not able to get done all we wanted, so we will have to have another time.
I am thinking about our next camp. It will be a Snowman Party. I am collecting things right now. Waiting for the snow!!!!!
I am still having a giveaway over at my blog. Please come and sign up!!!! Ends Oct. 10th.
Blessings, Linda

Wow, you'll have your hands full! I have one younger sister and 3 older male cousins so during the summer at my grandparents there were kids everywhere. The two oldest boys were in charge of us two girls so everybody was always accounted for. Those were the best days. Please keep me posted on the Snowman Party, I can't wait to see how much fun everyone has!

Posted - Oct 06 2009 : 10:09:04 AM How fun Jennifer, I made mittens last year for a decoration on a garland. I made only one for each child. Maybe I should do up another mitten to make a pair. smile! I saw some adorable snowmen cups and a tea pot at Dollar General. I definitely want to get some of those. I also had the idea to put a cocoa mix in the inside of the cup. I will add other things to the when I put it in a cellophane bag. Thank you so much for writing a comment. I love the interaction with all the ladies. Nice to meet you!
I loved hearing about your memories with your grandma. How sad she is gone for you. My grandma that took so much time with me is also gone. I left Alaska when I got married so my children only got to see her a few times. Now I am it. I really love having the camps. I hope they will still come back when they are older. I think they will. We are also having them be able to bring a friend for a camp. Oh my, glad we still have 2 daughters at home! Blessings Jennifer, Linda

Posted - Oct 06 2009 : 09:55:56 AM Sounds like so much fun! Your Grandchildren are so blessed to have these opportunities with you. I remember camping with my grandparents when I was young. I just lost my grandma this year and I am so thankful for all the wonderful times we had. Those grandkids will treasure these times the rest of their lives. I notice now days a lot of grandparents don't spend time like this with the little ones, I'm so happy for your family. You'll need plenty of mittens and scarves oh and hot chocolate! Have Fun.
Warm Wishes Jennifer
