If you know anything about old spinning wheels, go and visit my blog. I posted a photo of mine, and would love to hear more about them!

It is great!!! I miss not having a spinning wheel. A friend made one and I got to use it till I moved.

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Miss Wilma, it is good to see your post! I was told by my neighbor that she remembers her grandma using it, and it may have even come from her grandma's mom, and she is in her early 70's. I am just sick that I was the one to further damage the finish,;I should never put anything in an attic when it gets easily over 110 in there in the summer. But I had no place to display it where little baby hands would not want to explore. And it has sharp things on it. I used to have it beside my fireplace. If I need your recipe, which I just might get anyway, I will email you! Thanks!

Jeannie you have a good one, more valuable to leave the original finish, but they are easy to refinish. If you need my recipe let me know
