I am breaking down and trying to decide - Should I buy MaryJane's Ideabook/Lifebook or get a farm girl sisterhood membership? I can only choose one for NOW. Logically, it seems that buying the book would be the best bet right now.....?

Hey, girls, I just found out... MaryJane's running an october special..if you sign up for the membership, you get the Stitchin' Room book WITH it!!! So Okay, She got me there! I went ahead and signed up! All you have to do is sign up and they will send it..you can also renew and take advantage of it too! So I just wanted to carry on the news...... and you know I was planning on getting the membership next AND THEN the stitchin room book so....I had to!!! :D Yay!!

I'll be adding the books to my wish list. I had asked hubby for the membership to sisterhood for Christmas, but he got it already for me. I did belong to a Red Hat group as the pink hatter but they disband and I was in need of "girlfriends"... 'cuz girls just wanna have fun! I am so happy to be part of the Sisterhood.. (I only just begun) The books I will look forward to... um ...in less than three months!

Here, here! I agree with all of the above! I got the Ideabook first, then I just had to become a member! Everyone is so right, the book just doesn't get old. Next will be the Stitching Room. I would certainly get the book first, but there is something really fun and a sense of accomplishment and pride when you get your first merit badge! I love the membership and would tell you to do the book first, but join as soon as you can!

oh yes, I love the book too. It's an awesome reference book! I constantly recall stories that are related to either what someone I'm with is talking about or related to something I'm watching or seeing and since I've had that book I've been recalling it so, so much! you'll love it! if you don't have it already.

thinking of the book, I still really want to try jello molds. sounds yummy :)

Yup! The book is fantastic! I could never ever not have it on my bookshelf. If our house burned down, the first book I would buy would be one to replace my original copy!

I thought so! I've been dying to have the book but $35 sometimes is a little much when one has to think about other things! I'm looking forward to using the mix too! :D

Agreed. Ask for a sisterhood membership for Christmas or a birthday. The book is a never-ending reference for me. And, Janice is right...it just never gets old!

You made the right choice, Brooke. I love that book as much as the first day it came in the mail. It never gets old.

Yes, I think it's probably a no-brainer. How can a Farmgirl sister be without the BOOK. LOL.

Alee - No? You'd think I'd be a member of something by now!! Right?! LOL. I'm technically with the Heart of Texas farmgirls, but I still need to sign up with a membership. I've only recently had some spare money to get some MaryJane things.. so I am thinking the book.
