First.... one big YEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAWWWWW!!!

Secondly, Scott got his MRI results back...he has 3 bulging disks in his neck, a cyst in his nasal passage, arthritis in his back and some mechanical problems. While this is NOT something to celebrate, it is a BIG victory as he is NOT a liar nor is he lazy...according to his Army supervisors...He is NOT DEPLOYABLE!!! I get to keep my husband for good FOREVER...he has a lot of treatments and appointments coming up but we could be back in Texas in less than a year!!! We are looking at either a HUGE pay out or medical discharge...I am so HAPPY we will get to take care of him and go home!! Please keep us in your thoughts and thank you all for encouraging us along the way!!! ((((HUGS)))

I'll be heading to Fort Hood again soon as oldest DD lives there right now (her hubby is going to BNCOC) and younger's daughter's hubby is getting stationed there in January. There is nothing like a DQ, we don't have any here in central OK anymore. I know there's a couple north on the way to Kansas.

What part of TX are y'all headed to?

Heather,
Such good news; you guys getting to move home, and Scott getting the treatments he needs (and I am sure some relief!)

I will keep you guys in my prayers, hope Texas happens sooner, rather than later!

Heather, OF COURSE I do! I'd give ANYTHING (okay, maybe not anything) for Whataburger. LOL. And I can't have it for health reasons..my husband practically eats it ALL the time! He was just talking about how good their new lemon pies are! ;D

As for Brookshire's... My Nanny (great-grandmother) used to shop there and I have too.. but I do love HEB too.. haha!

Kay- God bless you and your family. We are at FT. Campbell...the doc he saw today is a pretty high ranking guy and was REALLY shocked at his results. They usually send them down to Vanderbilt in Nashville for anything major and that is what he is recommending. If it anything like the children's hospital, I will be estatic. The took such good care of Charlie.

Where are y'all stationed? I was sent to Fort Hood and that's where I got my surgery and discharge. The only saving grace was my doctor - the doctors in Hawaii were total $#*#s, if you get my drift. They dont' seem to understand that an active duty soldier can get hurt and/or sick through no fault of his own.

We just got our last SIL home from Iraq last night, but heaven knows how long that will last. However, 1 SIL is off to BNCOC and then to Fort Jackson for drill sergeant training and SIL #2 is trying to get into Warrant Officer school. Our ex-SIL has been over there 3 times and the other 2 have been there twice.

I wish you both luck and good health.

Thank you all!!! The main guy who has been harassing my husband pretty much ate it today..and walked away and didn't say a word. I really despise people who find happiness in destroying someone's else reputation and just being a jerk. I have no time nor patience with someone like that.

This means we can FINALLY makes plan...real, living plans for our future and have something to work towards. It is such a stress relief. I can count days. We would be really suprised if it took more than a year to process. So much to do now and it is all positive!! YEE HAW!!!
