Late last night a friend called and said she had to have emergency hernia plus gall bladder surgery today. She didn't have a ride home and asked if I could help. No problem! So I spent today helping her at the hospital and spending some time with her at her house. It was so nice! I am so glad she called, but that means I didn't get ANYTHING done here at the house! LOL Oh well! Tomorrow is another day!

You are a good friend. I have a very dear friend who had an abdominal abscess and a couple of years ago and now, because of that, she has a double hernia, but we know she is having surgery next week. She and her hubby are in their 60s/70s and they have no family in the area, so the DH and I will be helping them out as much as we can. Are you helping her out until she gets moved or will her hubby be back? There's a special place in heaven for farmgirls like you.

Alee, It was nice of you to help. That's what a good friend does, and unfortually the house work does wait. But who cares you always have to keep doing it over an over an over, We need more people who will help others out, instead of ignoring others. You did good!!!

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Ah, Alee, you really are one of the good ones! Wanna come join me over on the Virtual Porch site and relax a minute? Oh, I'm sorry. I see that you are already there!

Betty- Yes! I am very glad she called me! They are in the middle of a move- her husband and son are already living out of state and she and her daughter will be moving sometime in the next couple months so the home support is a bit fractured for the time being. She has been miserable for about two months so I am glad her body will finally be able to heal!

I sure wish I had a good friend like you, Alee. I also wouldn't mind being called to help out either. It would be nice to be trusted and counted on, don't you think?

Nice of you to help out. One thing is for sure them chores are ALWAYS waiting for you no matter what. You most likely feel better about yourself for helping than if you would have scrubed the toilet and your friend knows you care. Perfect day if you ask me!

Your a good friend to help her out. Housework is always there.

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.
