Posted - Sep 16 2009 : 11:48:15 AM why children are fascinated with the cooling knob in the fridge. Does anyone else have this problem?
I just went to gt a glass of tea and there were chips of ice floating in it. Normally they bump the fridge up to a 5-5.5 but no today it was all the way up. Guess one of them did it before they left for school. That would be explain why everything isn't completely frozen. Of course when I ask them all about in a couple of hours, not a one of them will be guilty. It's all the green goober troll that lives under the kitchen sink's fault.
Life would maybe not be so interesting or puzzling if not for kids. they sure keep me on my toes. ![](icons/icon_smile_tongue.gif)

Posted - Sep 16 2009 : 3:08:24 PM Funny I have 16 brothers and sisters, and they all have agreed it's always ONE's fault, every one no matter which you ask, say it was my brother Caleb! lol haha My husband even noticed! He's like they all blame the same one why? I said I think it's a running joke. My parents of course know it can't be him every time! lol

Posted - Sep 16 2009 : 2:44:01 PM you might try a strip of duct tape over the knob to discourage moving it

Posted - Sep 16 2009 : 2:31:10 PM LOL we have a little someone at our house that liked doing the same thing..funny to find frozen strawberries and grapes in the fridge and ice floating in things...ok sometimes funny..other times not so much...but the little someone knows now not to mess with the dial after I told them that they could wind up ruining all the other goodies we have...a simple explanation that we don't play with things like that sufficed.but yes..somehow kids like to blame "mr. nobody" for things sometimes :0)

Posted - Sep 16 2009 : 12:00:29 PM Oh my gosh Melanie! That is too funny! I remember doing that when I lived at home. Some things just didn't feel cold enough to me so I would crank up the refrigeration dial! LOL |
