Posted - Sep 11 2009 : 09:16:09 AM there aren't more farm girls closer. I was thinking today how great it would have a toddlers play group for our little farmgirls/boys in training once a week or something. It seems like most of the ladies that have toddlers live too far apart to get together like that. I know it would be a huge encouragement for me to be able to have other women who can relate to get together with and I know my kiddos could appreciate it.
Just wishful thinking, I suppose;)

Posted - Sep 11 2009 : 11:23:28 AM That's one thing I like about Mary Jane reminising about her girlhood. Seems her Mother was always getting together with people to do various things and since most all had kids there was a lot of interactions for Mary Jane and her siblings. I always thought that everyone should be doing that not just certain groups, older women with younger women, people with kids and those without. The only criteria is to be interested in the subject.
Hope you find like minded people Jessie.

Posted - Sep 11 2009 : 10:59:09 AM Jessie, I don't have any little ones either but I still think that would be fun. I would surely enjoy the company of other girls who like what I do.

Posted - Sep 11 2009 : 09:24:10 AM I used to feel that way too Jessie. When my girls grew up, they would far rather be playing outside than indoors. Some days they would come in just filthy (so what, they never went to bed that way!). It would have been fabulous for them to have some other little farm kiddos to play with. |

Posted - Sep 11 2009 : 09:20:04 AM I don't have toddlers anymore, my Baby is 28, and my 2 grandsons that live here are almost 5 and 6 1/2, but I would still enjoy girls like you and your little ones to visit, so yes, I wish some of us where closer.
