I finally figured out how to post pictures! Whew[|) I posted several pictures including our first grandchild, Mary Catherine. Check out the bolt of fabric I found. I plan to use it in Mary Catherines room at our house. It is a bark-cloth and looks like a shabby-chic design. It reminds me of my DH's grandmothers slip covers she had in her parlor. She told me she had them made before "The War" (WWII)! The colors are actually softer than the picture. Check back as I will be adding more pics of some really great finds I have collected while out on my thrifting jaunts. Now I need to figure out how to pretty it up and add music. Any ideas? Thanks for looking.

Oh Tracy your little Mary Catherine is a doll. I had my first grandchild in June. A little boy named Jaxzen Xavier. When he was first born I thought the spelling of his name was Jackson but got to thinking how his momma has been inventive in her other children's names (different relationship kids)and decided I better ask my son. Glad I did cause yep, it's very different...LOL. Don't you just love being a grandma? I know I sure do. Love the fabric too. It's just so lovely. Years ago I got some wonderful birch cloth at a rummage sale. Sure wish I still had it. Never got around to using it and think eventually I donated it to Goodwill. I kick myself now.

The barkcloth is beautiful, but oh that baby! She's a vision.
