Posted - Aug 31 2009 : 4:29:25 PM You ever have an "Ugh" day? You know where you wake up saying "Ugh..." Maybe not enough sleep or perhaps your body is fighting off an infection of some sort?
Today was my Ugh Day! LOL I wanted to get laundry done and some cleaning on my house, but I have had the hardest time getting and staying motivated.
When Nora took her nap I took one too- maybe and hour and a half tops? I wish it could have been 3 or 4 hours! That would have been SO nice! I should have gone to bed the instant that Nora went to her bed...oh well.
I really should be thinking of something for dinner. Doug will be home soon and I fixed a cherry crisp for desert but that is about as far as I have gotten.
What do you do on your UGH days? Do you just wait it out or do you have a tried and true method for snapping yourself out of it?

Posted - Aug 31 2009 : 5:25:32 PM Alee, I don't have wee ones in the house any more so that makes a HUGE difference. However, that also means getting older . . . but I will try to get out and walk. I'm a power walker and walk 4-5 miles a day, however I know that less can help. But that sure helps me get the "sludge" out . . . I hate those kind of days. I have too much to do!!! Hang in there! CJ

Posted - Aug 31 2009 : 5:11:13 PM I like your style, Dessert first. Laundry and housework never go away, so you can leave them until you feel like doing them. Thats what I like about housework. It always waits for me.
Hope all your days are Sunnydays. dianebcarterhotmailcom.blogspot.com |
