I picked my template, etc., and have started my blog, but I can't figure out how to add a "Favorite Sites" and "Favorite Blogs" section. Do all blogger/blogspot templates offer these 2 options or do only certain ones include them? I've read through their FAQ and couldn't find anything like this. tia

Thank you, jp. I love words and playing with them, so writing is a real joy for me. It's really different, though, knowing that your "journal" is no longer private. The blogging experience is a reminder of what my students (I teach English) must go through, knowing that I'll be reading what they write.

It is unfair!! I don't know HTML at all, so sometimes I'll cheat and just make a post for those such things. Glad to see you started a blog Patti, good for you!

Not all templates offer all the features. In one who does offer the sidebar link option, you still have to go into the format section and use HTML coding to add the links. If you haven't had experience doing this it can be a bit intimidating... but your kids or grandkids might whip right through it! Isn't that unfair! If I can help with specifics, just email me.
