Do you ever ask yourself this when you need to make a decision?

I started thinking about this the other morning as I was pulling the bug out of my coffee. After I finished the cup, I wondered what you gals would have done in that situation. I was pretty sure most would have done just as I did, but it made me realize how often I use the Farmgirls as a way to motivate myself. When I am feeling lazy and just don't want to can those tomatoes after the kids go to bed because I am tired, too. Or when I know it would be easier to just buy a loaf of bread rather than bake one myself. I just think, what would a Farmgirl do in this situation?

Honestly, I start to feel a little guilty if I take the easy way out now that I know you wonderful ladies and all that you do. So when I need a little motivation or need to be more charitable and gracious, a better steward of our money and time, or whatever, I just think "What would a Farmgirl do?" and know that if I follow that, I will generally make the right decision.

Oh, y'all must be crowding around my kitchen table when I'm grousing about house cleaning or weeding, or mowing the yard (an ALL day chore!). But Alee is right. Having all of you standing around my table either glaring at me or wearing looks of 'shame on you' is a great motivator! And Debbie, I had that saying on my fridge for the longest time. I just love it!!!! By the way, any one want to come mow my yard???????????????

Funny, Toni, I was thinking the same thing the other day. When I see something cool, or feel great about an accomplishment, I really want to share with the Farm Girls because it feels like they care and can appreciate the little things in life. What an inspiration all you ladies are!

i love this notion! i've never thought about it, but i DO think often of you gals as i go about my business each day. i look up to you gals and it DOES give me inspiration. i like to picture you in my head when i read your questions and stories as you go about your business... i often think you gals must be alot like me as you go about your business. i suppose it gives me some comfort, especially knowing you are out there much like me in your ways... it's like you are family!!!

Toni...another thing you might like to ponder as I do, is the saying...

"I like to be the kind of woman, that when my feet hit the floor in the morning, the devil says, "Crap...she's awake!"

Farmgirls DO have a way of stirring your emotions and making you realize what's important and even though we don't see each other, we all know we're in this together!

Toni- I do the exact same thing! Isn't it great how it works? Usually my "What would a farmgirl do" is about housecleaning- and my house is much cleaner now that it has been for a while! :D
