Thanks, Jessie...I am cherishing every little thing--because, you are right--it's way too fleeting. She is my pure joy!

Yep, Janice, you know she can't miss an antique show! She'll be along, probably all bundled up if the weather here, this week, is any indication of how the mid of September will be!!! Can't wait!

Is she coming to Burlington with you? Wilma needs her napping partner. ;)

Wow! It surely doesn't seem like it was a whole six months ago that you were showing us the hospital pictures of Violet. She is growing so quickly and what a beautiful smile. Treasure these moments. They are fleeting and I know for myself that I miss that and wished I could have held those little ones oh so much tighter if only I had known then what I would miss now.

Give Violet a big hug for me and yourself too! ;)
hugs

Jessie

but when the darkness sets in,
their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.

She sure is, Nance! She's always ready to do "whatever" it is we are doing at the time. She loves to go, go, go! She had her 6 month appointment last night, a very long and lean little girl, is she. 15 lbs. 1 oz and 27 and 1/4 inches long. I held her in my arms the whole time, just in her daidie while she held both of her feet and "talked" while the doctor talked. Finally, the doctor had to start laughing because she said, "I suddenly realized I switched my focus from you, her parents to HER because SHE'S talking to ME!!!" Very cute, indeed. Thanks for looking at the blog, gals. I try to keep up, but it's hard sometimes. Not nearly enough hours in the day and I'd rather just hang with the girl!

Loved reading the petite histoire of Mademoiselle Violet! She is such a darling little girl, and already with a "let's go" personality, it seems! Hugs to all, Nance

What a sweetie, she is just a dazzler. Isn't it amazing how your life changes when you become a parent. It is such a wonderful journey...thanks for sharing more pictures of your beautiful girl...
