Decided on the spur of the moment, lol.
Wanna do something to cheer me up and just decided to go there. My dear neighbor H is coming with me, so a nice few hrs at the thrift. I hope to find something cute or pretty to take home with me. Haven't been there in a while.They have changed, gotten bigger and better, so WOOHOO, off to the thrift I go, lol

Lol Janice. They are all kinda old fashioned words. Gonna try to find one that i can translate;)They are mostly old Dutch words, so here goes one I never heard of before.
DITHYRAMBE ( a song for Dionysos, the god of wine and fertility). Hmm , interesting read lol;

Wonderful finds, Marian! What words were 'strange words' in 1921? That book looks like a fascinating read.

I always wonder about thrift stores in Europe.....they have much older stuff around for antiquing!!! I actually love to visit thrift stores when I travel because there are often such goodies! |
