Yep, I think Fall is on the way! Actually, I'm kind of happy about it. It's been sooooo hot that a little cool will be just fine!

Yesterday, when I went out to feed I had to don my light jacket. Only for a little while but still, it was kind of nice.

I just KNOW that when I'm 6 ft. under snow, I'm going to wish it were warmer...hehehe...

Oh, how I long for cool weather. It hasn't been below 75 here for YEARS I think! Muggy, too and we're in serious hurricane weather now. I miss Colorado so much!

I actually put a quilt on my bed tonight and drank hot chocolate to warm up. I couldn't believe how cool it got. LOVELY!

It's been hot here the past few days too but I can't really complain. We had a delightfully mild summer before that. But I'm really looking forward to fall, it's my very favorite season and time of year. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and looked at their fall and Christmas displays. It's really getting me in the mood.

Its hot here at 83 degrees. Can you image how our soliders feel in full uniform with full gear on in over 100 degree's daily? I know there all in my prayers, I don't even like hot-flashes.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

We've been having cooler weather (60's and 70's all summer. Definitely fall is coming but now we have 90's. Just in time for the Minnesota State Fair.

Let me tell you, summer is raring to go here! It has been cold and rainy here for a lot of the summer but now it is in the high 80's humid and heading for 92 tomorrow. Even though it is hot, I catch myself looking at all the fall things in the store and getting excited about fall, it is my favorite time of year.

Yup! We have that same chilliness here. I started thinking of how much it would cost to rent a rototiller and get my garden prepped for winter time. I am also thinking I might get a truckload of manure from the stables and have it dumped in my garden before winter. By spring it should be good and mixed in with our soil it should be about perfect.

I looked at my apple tree though and the apples are only about a quarter of the way to red so I am thinking that we still have a good month before the first real frost. Then a scurry to get the apples in and put up for the winter~
