Good morning girls!
I wanted to share one of the pics of a soap variety I made yesterday for a wholesale order. This is a pic of a variety called 'chocolate swirl' just after it was poured into the mold. It is made with cocoa powder. It is so cool. I love making soap!

Knowing me, I would be the one to forget that it was soap!
I need to get back into making my goat milk soap.

Your soap is beautiful.

Alee,
I'd love to go there and sell my soap and meet Mary Jane- but i live SO far away. I'd be honored to meet her. I keep telling my husband that I want to meet her.

When I sold soap at the Moscow Farmer's market the most common comment/question I got was "Oh! What kind of fudge is that!" and after I explained it wasn't actually fudge, but rather soap they would say "Wow! It smells so good! I want to eat it!" LOL! That always made my day!

There is a farmer's market here that I am hoping to start selling soap at again. I am excited.

Connie, that is so funny! I love handmade soaps and some of them look very appetizing! The one you featured looks like a gooey, decadent chocolate and vanilla fudge combo. I can see how easily people can be fooled if not labeled.

LOL, please dont eat the soap. Funny story, whenever i make soap, i bring the samples to work. I label them all. One of the samples was honey almond, and of course it smelled like candy. Well a few days later when i got to work my boss started to tell me how she left the soap sample on the counter, in it's LABELED package. BUT, her husband thinking it was candy, decided to take a bite out of it. Needless to say it tasted gross and he ate peanut butter to try and get the taste out of his mouth!

Soon after there was a party that some of my co-workers attended. I didnt go. One of my co-workers along with my boss were going to trick her husband again into eating the soap! someone cut it up at the restaurant (yeah, they were in on it), put in on a platter and served it. When they went to serve her husband, YES he fell for it! BUT, the CEO's wife also took a piece and they were unable to stop her! LOL so she got a taste of it too.
