Here are my entries for the amateur novelty cake class in the fair. I have a chance of placing cuz this class doesn't get alot of entries. Fingers crossed!!

I can see why you won, those are great. Not sure I would of even tried a teapot, your's looked great. Very nice for sure.

Well, the results are in! My teapot cake took first and it got Best in Show. The cheeseburger cake got third. And the apple cupcakes took first. WooHoo!!! It was pretty hot and muggy here on saturday, though. So, by the end of the day the handle on the teapot had fallen off. Some of the other entries looked like soup by the time they did the cake walk that night.

Those are so good and I am just amazed at the work. I love the tea pot. Almost missed that one! Very creative. I bet ya do win!

When is the fair? Ours around here aren't til Sept. and Oct. It's too hot in Aug. Right now it feels like it's 100 out there.

Way cool! I think you're a winner just for getting that hamburger cake stacked without it falling apart. If I ever tried anything that difficult it'd be on the floor for sure...LOL.

Yum!! I remember making a hamburger cake for my son's tenth birthday (he's now 23!). It was the most labor intensive thing I have ever made! lol Your's is beautiful and that apple cake is amazing. Good luck!!
