............. make a "linky-link" in a post to this forum? I admit, I am a little bit computer-skills deficient. I notice some of you farmgirls have links to your websites/blogs in your posts, and I like to be able to click on your links to see your blogs; but I can't figure out how to make a link to my blog on my posts; or other links to places on the internet. What's the trick? |

Thanks girls. I tried your suggestion, Sharon, and hope it works. I don't know why all these simple little things are so hard for me to figure out sometimes. Just making a blog was a huge big deal for me! I am such an old-fashioned girl, even though I am only 28. Hee, hee. Thanks also, Alee, I will try your suggestion next time I need to make a link in a post. It is all so clear to me now....You guys are the best.

or if you just mean in your post- just type in the address, it automatically Hyperlinks if the http:// or the www. are added
so for example I will type the address to my website below:
www.awarmheart.com
I didn't do anything special except type the address and Viola! It's a link!

Hello Hosanna,
Julie (willowtreecreek) gave me these instructions when I got my blog going:
At the top right of the page click on the word PROFILE.
You will be prompted to enter in your login and password.
Then a box will come up that says EDIT USER PROFILE.
Find the box called TAGLINE and type in the web address for your blog. (also make sure the little box that says "tagline checkbox checked by default" says YES)
You will then need to type in the letters in the security box and hit submit. It should show up next time you make a post.
