Posted - Aug 07 2009 : 11:08:16 AM Just hate it when someone comes in and starts the conversation with those words. Ole Ron just came in and said them. What Now! One of the freezers was unpluged!! He wondered why there was water on the floor and discoved that it was unpluged. Then I remembered when I went out after meat for supper yesterday around noon the the interior light was off. Hummmmm Light must be burnt out. Never thought to check the plug in. I just checked and every thing is OK. The freezer is so full that it kept itself frozen. No idea how long it was off. Whew, could have been a costly bo-bo.

Posted - Aug 07 2009 : 5:42:20 PM My husband lost an entire freezer full of meats one time, before we were married. What a terrible loss that would have been for you if you hadn't caught it on time............. |

Posted - Aug 07 2009 : 1:41:32 PM Oh no! I am so glad everything was still frozen. Thank goodness it was full. Ole Ron, he must be something else. I can just imagine him coming in, sitting down and telling you that. Too funny!
But that happened to me a few times. I know now not to put popcicles in the freezers outside. Kids don't know how to shut them all the way.
