Took Grand daughter Abby to the thrift with me today. We both made out pretty good. I got a nice blue pottery piece that goes good with my other pottery, and a nice basket for the front porch.

Thrifting is THE thing to do, for me too lol. I love looking at all the more expensive things but am happy when I can get a similar item at the thrift for next to nothing :)

Thankyou Dutchy. I just got an e'mail from my sister. She was telling me about all the things she ordered and the web site where I could see them. yipes! beautiful things but about $600.00 Dollars. Good thing I'm happy with thrift stores and garage sales for the most part. Her home is beautiful, looks like it should be in the magazine 'Early American Life'.
