My husband told me about this last night...a group called Improv Everywhere gave these little leaguers in California a total surprise game. I'm not EVEN a sports girl and found myself smiling ear to ear.

Check it out!

I know, Alee! It was so funny when that first little boy went up to bat and the "announcer" came on. He put his bat down and looked around like, "wha????" I enjoyed the whole thing! This improv company looks like they do some fun things...there is one video of 200 or so of them dressed in royal blue polo shirts and khaki's and they all go into Best Buy (where that is the uniform of the workers!!!). Um, utter confusion for the customers!

That is really awesome! I love hearing about great things like that happening to/for kids! Can you imagine how excited they must have been when the jumbotron rolled out?

Can you even imagine? I love how, at first, the parents were like, "ho hum, another Saturday afternoon blown!" and were even visibly irritated at the "fans"...but as things progressed and the "announcers" started, things sure picked up!!!

The coach was so funny--he's right, though! How on EARTH would any other game in the season even compare!!

This is too cute!! My twins are in Little League and they would have loved something like this. I bet these players will be talking about this for months to come!!
