Posted - Jul 27 2009 : 05:53:55 AM Heather I to am 5'8 and I find that black is very slimming and so are strips in the right direction. Depending when you will be wearing the dress. Number 2 can be your little black dress (any special time) but I found number 3 to be the same with a little more fun.

The sassy little black number...it serves multiple purposes, from casual to work and as far as being hot in Texas, the great thing with a dress is you can aim the A/C up your skirt in the truck. ; )

Posted - Jul 26 2009 : 6:36:29 PM For sure I like #3 the best. My second choice would be #1. I really love the 3rd one though!! |
Beverly Gill |
Posted - Jul 26 2009 : 6:33:02 PM I looked at them again----I really like the collar on #2---sophistication.....but then would that black be hot in Texas?? #3 I just don't care for the material---it could be pajamas, a bathrobe---anything could be made with those stripes.....sorry...just my opinion.....I could be very wrong....just too too casual of material.
this is fun to see everyone's opinions, though.

Posted - Jul 26 2009 : 6:22:01 PM I like 2 or 3. When its warm out, 2 looks like it might be too "hot", and 3 looks more "summery".

Posted - Jul 26 2009 : 5:28:56 PM I vote for number 1. I think it's the most feminine of the 3. The black one is too stark and I'm not crazy about the collar on the 3rd. I did like the rest of #3 but it's more of a summer only dress. I think #1 could be worn year round.

Posted - Jul 26 2009 : 1:31:56 PM #3 would be my first pick, very feminine, and could be dressed up or down. #2 could also and if you don't have a black one nice to have but I really liked #3 the more I think about it. Rae

Posted - Jul 26 2009 : 12:42:35 PM In that case, I would probably choose #2 as well.
Black goes with everything, looks slimming and can be dressed up and down with accessories and jewelery. I like the cut of the skirt on both #2 and #3, a fuller skirt is often more flattering.

Posted - Jul 26 2009 : 12:37:57 PM WHAT??? No pink??? lol. I have something like the second one. YES me in a black dress! But I use a lot of pink accessories, shoes, bracelet and necklace ;) Had to get used to wearing black, but they say every girl should have a black dress. AND it was on HUGE sale so.,....
I like them all t be honest, so I am NO good

Posted - Jul 26 2009 : 12:22:39 PM Hi Heather,
Gee...I can see why you're having trouble choosing. They are all adorable!
If I were planning on wearing the dress the rest of the summer, I would probably chose #3, because it's so airy and cool looking.
All the best with your choice, I don't think you can choose wrong, Joyce |
