I am not here to start controversy. Only want for you to stop and think. Please check out my blog www.harvestthyme.blogspot.com
It's gonna take someone, like us, to lead us to victory. Are you the one? Am I? Is it your cousin? Your brother? Your daughter?

If you'd like a copy of the brochure I'm referencing on my blog, please email me.

Again, this is not the place to discuss in detail. I only want to make you aware of a grassroots project that's about to be reckoned with....

I know...I sound cryptic don't I? hahaha... I'm still the light-hearted dork you all know and love!

Dawn, I have been thinking the same way for years. When I first found out about GMO...And what they do to you. I have many reasons that I can go into but I just dont want to ramble. It is soooooo un American what they people do to us that we (not me ) put in power. This country is more like a Socialist country than a Democratic one. People who think like us will be the ones that will rebel and become the ones that will be on the run. I would love to be off the grid and woukld if I could figure out how to do it and survive. Keep thinking the way you do....I know I will

As someone whose 5th great grandfather served three "hitches" in the Revolutionary War against England (and I have a copy of his pension papers to prove it!!), I say AMEN!

I was born on the 4th of July, and my love of this country runs deep and strong. I love the USA, for what it was built upon and for what I hopes it still does stand for. Go girl.

Amen!!! Although I am no fan of Glen Beck's I appreciate everything you said and I'm going to pass this information along to people who are very active in our area with the same things.

Dawn I have taken this stand for a long time. I probably was enlightened on what was happening twenty years ago. Did you ever listen to Marlin Maddux sp? on the radio. He has passed away, but his program Point of View is still on. I learned so much from him. David Barton is also fighting this fight and he has a web site, WallBuilders.com. He goes to Washington and State capitols, writes books and speaks. He is great!

Thank you. I too believe in the hardships endured by our forefathers (and mothers) and am piping hot mad over the lack of respect our gov't has. I just hope that we find "the one". That certain person that will lead our Nation to the powerhouse we've been and really should be. I'm so humbled and touched that you, my peers and my friends, are like-minded on this. I was scared to post. Scared to not post. As a part of this forum, this connection, we have so much power and I don't know if all of us realize it, but WE may be the answer to this. It just may be a farmgirl, a farm WOMAN, that has the voice, the honor and the wisdom to right some wrongs.... look within yourselves, your families.... do you know "her"??

I am right there with ya. I think the education of our kiddos has gotten to far away from the basics- American History and what it really MEANS...not just the words but WHY it is so important to know, remember, celebrate and cherish. I was talking with Charlie's daycare owner and her daughter in a printer of some sort for school books. She was upset because the new history books has Elvis Presley on the cover. Now, I like the big hunka hunka burning love BUT that is not history to me, it's a moment of pop culture. Everyone in the country is wanting equal rights but what about the right to be and celebrate being an American and all that entails??? I honestly don't think a lot of people today know the basics and just go along as sheeple.

I'm with ya Dawn! Two weeks ago I spent my Saturday at a class about the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. It was great! I learned so much and now I have a little pocket-sized one to carry with me. Have you read Common Sense by Glen Beck yet?

I applaud your desire to stand up for our country and especially for our constitution and what it REALLY says. :0)

I served the first 11 years of my life in the Air Force. My father committed 23 years to the Air Force and retired. So I'm obviously another lady that has deep convictions concerning patriotism and what is the right way to do things.

I have my Tea Party topic over in the Gathered Up forum if you would like to visit.
