didn't know exactly where to post this as one of the gals here had mentioned wanting ideas for her farm style kitchen decor...so..I created a blog post showcasing some fun items that I came across on etsy.com
I will be decorating my next home with vintage items I have found on etsy.
Anyhow the blog post features some items and sellers that I came across on etsy that have some darling vintage items that can add some real fun "farm style" to a kitchen for not much moolah...Check it out here:

(and no I wasn't paid, bribed or begged to post those shops and items on my blog...I simply wanted to create a blog post that had a few fun items and ideas for those that might want to create a fun new look in their kitchens)
Enjoy!

Thanks, Tina. I'm definitely going to investigate those sites. And I can't wait until we get to see your kitchen when you get moved...

I love vintage decorating and am doing my whole house this way. Luckily, I have collected for years, as I worked in an antiques store and still do on occasion. Hubby and I are remodeling our kitchen, in which one wall was uncovered and we discovered a gorgeous log wall.... so Hubby is installing a display shelf on the log wall for my boxes of vintage and antique kitchen items. I have Jadeite, old juicers and pitchers, tins, painted flour sifters, yellow ware bowls, enamelware, pottery, old kitchen gadgets, cookie cutters, aprons, old cookbooks, milk bottles, egg baskets, coffee grinder, blue canning jars, cute little chicken figurines, etc. etc.

That was fun! Thanks.. Reminded me of those chickens stuck in a box in the closet. I'll post them on the bartering page, maybe they can become someone else's treasure!!
