So. . .last year in the summer (I think) I had posted that I was looking for wool pants for my husband to use for icefishing, etc. I think I had posted it in the barter thread. No luck, but I re-posted it in the winter, again with none. Well, here we are in July of this year and suddenly I got an email from Cindy (motherhen) asking if I still wanted wool pants! She had been in a surplus store, seen them, and remembered me!
My next surprise came when I listened to my answ. machine and had a message from her! Wow! all the way from Idaho! :)
She went to the trouble of verifying what I did want and then going back and purchasing them (the correct size too!) and sending them to me.
What an amazing blessing for us! We got them today and my husband is SOOOOOO excited about them! His current wool pants are threadbare and holey--he got them at a yard sale about 20+ years ago--now he's ready to go! We got 3 pair, so he's already put one with his icefishing stuff, one with deerhunting stuff, and has the third in his hunting closet too.
Thank you So much Cindy!! You really went above and beyond, for someone you don't even know! Thank you thank you thank you!

Sheila, it was my pleasure. I love the opportunity to be a blessing to others!! I was wondering last evening, as I watered the garden, if you had gotten them yet and if they would fit. I'm SO glad they are just what your hubby wanted. Enjoy!!

(Kris, thanks for the nice words. )

That is so neat, Sheila. I have talked to Cindy on the phone a few times, too. She is so sweet. This sounds like someting she would do and do it well, too. I second Marly's response! Farmgirls are the greatest!
